Riding the Social Media Wave
Going Viral in under 2 months
Sometimes with Organic Social Media you hit a wave.
Your account turns into Kelly Slater and you ride that wave for all its worth.

Kelly Slater - widely regarded as the best surfer of all time
This past week was the turn of one of our client’s Willow Tree Interiors and the fantastic Luke Stanger.
We started working with Luke about 2 months ago. Willow Tree make a great product but he wasn’t getting the brand awareness or the leads coming in he would have liked.
That’s where we came in.
The first month and batch of content did okay - in the mid 10,000-30,000 view range for the videos. Not setting the world alight but certainly not bad by anyones standards.

Then we hit the wave. We didn’t see it coming but its like playing football - you can’t score without enough shots on goal - and we take a lot of shots (3 videos a week, every week)
The first video started slowly; after the first week it was only hovering at around 50,000 views, and then the wave caught it and it started flying.
1 week later the video is sitting at 3,000,000 views.

This has built mega brand awareness for Luke and his company and will help tremendously when people come in for appointments - the social proof of this is insane.
Sticking to the sea theme, “a rising tide lifts all boats” - the signals this 3m view video gave to the algorithm started to say “hey guys, you know we actually have pretty good content” and another video is starting to rocket.
It’s currently sitting at 469,000 views and climbing.

In order to track the effectiveness on lead gen of these viral videos we track organic leads by putting a typeform link onto the instagram profile.

As the above shows, organic leads were ticking along nicely until the 11th September when it went from one a day consistently up 2’s and 3’s a day.
In Luke’s own words “can’t fault anything”
